What is polyester plywood ? | Polyester plywood is plywood laminated with decorative paper, which is then applied with polyester resin, covered with film, and spreaded evenly using the roller until the resin hardens. Polyester plywood earns the advantage of its strong surface resistance against scratch and water, attractive application as well as low cost solution. |
| 2. What sort of products that GPU produces ? | GPU is specialising in producing polyester plywood for Japanese market. Since 2015, we have expanded our products to deliver not only polyester plywood but also Blockboard and MDF coated with polyester resin. |
| 3. What is the standard of wood legality at GPU ? | Since 2014, GPU has received the SVLK certification, which was issued by Government of Indonesia. SVLK stands for Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu, which translates as Timber Legality Assurance System or INDO-TLAS. As part of SVLK program, companies have to attach a V-Legal document to their shipments for export |
| 4. What is the standard certification of GPU's products ? | Since 2014, our factory has acquired Japanese Agricultural Standard (JAS) Certificate, which was issued by Certification body that goes by brand Mutu Certification International. Despite the JAS standard, our products are also subject to 4VOC (toluene, xylene, styrene and ethylbenzene) emission rate standards. |
| 5. What is the minimum order ? | For our International Customer, the minimum order is a 20' Ft Container containing one single type of product or combination of few types. |
| 6. Which form of payment does GPU accept ? | For our International Customer, we accept both T/T payment in advance and Letter Of Credit. When paying by T/T, original Bill of Lading will be sent out after all payments are complete. |
| 7. How can I obtain samples ? | Making the right decision before purchasing is very important. At GPU, we are happy to provide samples via the post for a small postage and packaging charge. We only charge what it costs us to package and post the samples to our customers. Please contact us to order samples. |
| 8. When is the delivery time ? | For most of our products, delivery time is within 4-5 weeks upon receiving confirmation of the sales contract. When we have our stocks ready, we can get your order delivered faster. Please note that the delivery time does not include the shipping time. The shipping time may vary depending on the destination and the freight forwarder. |
| 9. Is it possible to have factory visit ? | Yes, we welcome our customers to have a tour around our factory's facility and check our manufacturing quality standards. Please contact us prior to your arrival should you require any transportation to the factory. |
